For those who might not be aware, March is the official release month for The Shadow Regent, the next book in the Tralodren universe. This standalone tale delves into some places we have yet to explore for the world setting, namely the gods and the greater cosmos. It was fun to get to paint with a larger brush with such a story and introduce readers to more of just what the world of Tralodren entails. It was also a refreshing break to write only one novel for the story. While I can and do enjoy crafting tales that range over multiple books I also enjoy being able to wrap up a story in just one volume. This means The Shadow Regent is a great jumping on point for new readers who might not want to start off with The Wizard King Trilogy. And, as with everything else I've done with Dark Horse thus far, it will be available in a print, digital, and audiobook format.
I'll also be undertaking a tour for The Shadow Regent, the first of two I'll be doing this year. This will be the first tour I've done since the release of Triumph of the Wizard King back in 2021. So, needless to say, I'm rather looking forward to getting back on the road and meeting folks and signing copies again. And not just signing copies of this title but any of the Wizard King Trilogy you might wish to put before me.
